Basically the Pyro surf has the same excellent hard wearing dry core of other OR drysuits but with a close fitting lycra oversuit to bring streamline and 'burp' the excess air out, allowing the user to swim and duck dive with ease.

I have this suit and I wear fleece type thermals underneath it, layering up or down to adjust for wind and water temperature, the level of movement in the Pyro Surf is far greater than that of even the thinnest summer wetsuit and without constriction around body joints. With this suit I have happily kited throughout the winter and not even needed to wear gloves! However, now that I have used it I will never go back to using a wetsuit in the winter!
